Privacy

The short version

Lightbox Missions shows films and updates from mission organizations and helps you support them. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell it, and there are no ads or cross-app tracking.

What we collect

Your account: your name, email address and, if you add one, a profile photo.

What you do in the app: the organizations you follow, the films you save, and the likes and comments you post. Comments show your name to other members.

If you run an organization: the posts you publish, and the details in your application to be listed (organization, contact person, registration and verification details).

Basic technical data our providers record to keep the service running, such as sign-in times and error reports.

If you write to us through this website (a newsletter sign-up, a note, or a Vision Film application), we receive what you type into that form so we can reply.

What we don’t collect

Payment details. When you give, you do it on the organization’s own website in Safari. Lightbox Missions never sees or stores your card or bank details and takes no part of your gift.

Your location, contacts, or activity in other apps.

Who helps us run it

Google Firebase stores accounts, profiles, posts and comments. Cloudflare Stream and YouTube play the films. Resend delivers the emails this website sends. They process data for us under their own privacy terms and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

We share nothing else, except where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account); that erases your profile, follows, saved films, likes and comments, and ends your sign-in. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for its deletion.

Children

Lightbox Missions is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
